My knowledge of Hitchcock films isn't as deep as I would like it to be, so it was a treat to see Dial M for Murder the other night. The plot is fairly simple, but it is executed so well that it remains funny and enjoyable. Since the audience knows exactly what happened, the film is more of a comedy. The ending -- with the mustache comb-- received laughs and applause.
